APEX/IFSA EXPO is a member only event.  Only registered 2022 APEX/IFSA EXPO attendees will be allowed into the 2022 APEX/IFSA EXPO hall and events.  Badges may not be shared.  You will be asked to show a company ID or business card.  Registrants must be 21 years of age or above to enter the EXPO show floor during exhibit hours.

Be advised that all attendees registered for APEX/IFSA EXPO will appear on an attendee list.  No contact information is provided on these lists (only name, company, city, state/province, country). 

Attendee List Sales Scam Warning 

It has come to APEX’s attention that “companies” are contacting some APEX members and meeting attendees to offer them sale of the APEX Annual Expo attendee mailing list. This, unfortunately, has become a more common occurrence for association annual meetings and trade shows in recent years. Software programs can “crawl’ association websites to harvest usable email addresses, which scammers then contact. 

PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. 

APEX does not sell its meeting registration lists, and APEX does not authorize any third party to distribute or sell annual meeting attendee lists or lists related to any APEX event. 

APEX cannot be held responsible for any interaction or sale with these fraudulent company(s). APEX takes this matter very seriously and will do whatever possible to protect APEX attendees, partners, and exhibitors. 

If you are contacted by a company claiming to have access to an APEX attendee list, do not respond to their message and do not “unsubscribe” to additional messages, as this just informs the sender that your email address is active, which will usually result in additional unwanted email. Please forward a copy of the message to info@APEX.org.

Registration Policies

Payment Policy:  All badge registrations must be paid in full before the event.   If payment has not been received by APEX/IFSA offices prior to the event, payment will be required onsite to receive entrance into the event.  No invoices will be issued for registration fees onsite. 

Cancellation Policy:  Registration fees are refundable through 11:59 ET, 13 September 2022, less a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be issued after 13 September. APEX and IFSA reserve the right to cancel any programs and assumes no responsibility for personal expenses. Refund requests will be processed 30 days after the meeting concludes. 

Exceptions may be granted for those who are unable to attend given country mandated travel bans or restrictions. Should attendees need to cancel their registration prior to the event, proof of mandated country travel policies must be provided. 

Member Database:  Registrants of the APEX/IFSA EXPO are added to the APEX/IFSA admin ‎database and distribution list for members and receive access to receive member benefits through their ‎company membership. ‎ 

Your individual profile is only visible to other APEX/IFSA members within the members-only ‎‎directory. You can log into the member database, or contact staff, to opt-‎out of emails at ‎any time‎.  ‎ 

Photography waiver:  By attending or participating in this event, registrants agree that the record of their attendance and their likenesses (including photos/video of themselves separate and in groups, photos/video of their company displays, etc.) may appear in APEX/IFSA publications, promotional matter, and other printed, electronic, or video materials.  Registrants are also herein advised that the news media attend this event and may record registrants’ attendance, images and comments for publication or broadcast. 

Contracted Exhibit Space:  A company or organization, and their employees, that do not have contracted exhibit space will not be allowed to display products or solicit business or engage in business meetings in the Long Beach Convention Center during the EXPO dates.  This includes meeting rooms and communal space in the Long Beach Convention Center.  

Anti-Harassment Statement: APEX/IFSA EXPO is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. [Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks.] Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference [without a refund] at the discretion of the conference organizers.  By attending or participating in this event, registrants agree to this anti-harassment policy.

Press Registration (Approval required)  

Complimentary press registration in available, by approval, to any reporter, writer, editor, photographer, or videographer assigned by a recognized news media organization to cover the 2022 EXPO.  Writers of corporate blogs are not considered members of the media, and generally not eligible to register as press. Exceptions to this rule will be made on a case-by-case basis.   

In addition:

• Full-time employees of news media organizations must present a business card and a press I.D.
• Freelancers must present identification AND a signed letter from the assignment editor of a recognized news media organization (on company letterhead of the specific media outlet) verifying that they have been retained to cover the events.
• Each news media organization is limited to two representatives. (Exceptions may be made upon request for video crews.)
• Marketing and sales associates are not considered members of the media and cannot register as press.
• Complimentary Press Registrants may attend only for editorial purposes. Individuals planning to engage in advertising solicitation, circulation, or any other business purposes must register as a non-member vendor.
